Back pain or spinal troubles, like neck or cross pain, neuralgic pain in the back of the head, arms or legs may have many different causes. Most causes are muscle tension and nerve irritation.
A regular therapeutic Yoga gymnastic strengthens and eases the back muscles, eliminates the back pains and improves our general mobility.
Here I present some selected Yoga exercises which make our back suppler and stronger. The exercises are only suitable for back problems which did not result from deformations of the spinal column, diskopathia (e.g. volume disk incident), injuries and organic diseases.
Learn these Yoga exercises under the guidance of an experienced Yoga teacher. Because all single movements of an exercise must be implemented exactly and synchronously with the respiration.
If you already know these Yoga exercises execute them after a warming up phase slowly, evenly and with consciousness and the right balance between tension and relaxation. Breath thereby deeply and calmly in and out.
We start with light head turns to the right and to the left. Then we bend the head laterally to the left and to the right, forward and backward. We repeat this exercises at least 5 times. Afterwards follows:
